What is “The Blue Thing?”
Ok, jeez, you ask a lot of questions. It’s a repeat of the run-up to last year’s Miami GP where Ferrari teased and teased and teased that they’d be running a special livery featuring blue, quite a turn for the iconically red team. Exactly how much blue was left a mystery, but just look at the promo material and tell me what you’d expect:
Whole lot of buildup over the weeks leading up to the race. Blue all over everything.
I see a red car and I want it painted black blue
The car is gonna be blue, right?? RIGHT????

Not only was it barely blue, it was ugly! Insulting. Respectable finishes on the weekend3 salvaged things but overall it was a real fumble for the Scuderia.
That Was a Year Ago. What Now?
Like I said, they’re doing the blue thing again. Look at this shit:
Floods of blue! Red as a limited accent! The messaging is clear.
Seems Fine.
