We open this episode with Ashley Mitchell on a call with her boyfriend telling him she’ll call the cops on him. A sign of future Smashley drama, or just the producers trying to find something compelling where they can? We also get Katie trying to teach Challenge politics to Adam, which must be so frustrating for her as someone good at politics and terrible at any actual competition.
The challenge this week has one partner hanging from a moving crane while their partner pushes them to try to grab rings as they drive down the road. This gives Ashley the nervous toots. Most teams get around 6-8 rings, and Devin/Leroy and Amber/Faysal both getting 11, and Katie/Veronica not getting a single ring. Amber and Faysal get more bonus points for getting the right rings, so they get the win.

After the elimination, we get the first consideration from the winning team to potentially send themselves in to elimination to win a star to be eligible for the final.
For party night, there’s an 80s prom theme party. Steve skips this while also wondering why people keep sending them in. Could it be that you’ve decided you don’t need a social game? Most importantly at the party, there’s an Aneesa and Sam hook up. Let’s get ready for All Stars 6: Battle of the Exes.
Steve and Adam throw themselves in because they were going to get sent in anyway, hoping that it buys them some goodwill to get another starholder in. I don’t know why they lobby for that instead of something like Katie and Veronica and stick around another week. Faysal and Amber seem to seriously consider it, but since they get shown looking serious with dramatic music right before a commercial break, it was never going to happen.
Instead, Ashley and Aneesa go in, continuing the curse of the team that fights and makes up. The elimination has one player on each team trying to pour water into a tank with a hose from on top of a tower, and the other player trying to block the other team from pouring it with a big glass star. This will go for 3 rounds with each team alternating their job. Through the first ound they were pretty close, but in the second round, Ashley chooses not to wear goggles and then complains about not being able to see. Adam and Steve dominate the second round and that’s pretty much the difference. The third round is pretty even again, but because of how dominant the second round was, it’s an easy win for Adam and Steve.

After the elimination, Sam and Frank are gearing up for something big, so I assume this will somehow backfire and they’ll manage to get eliminated next week.
Finally, I wanted to bring attention to Turbo’s burgeoning music career with his new single.
This features lyrics such as “Don’t play with a girl’s heart, she only has one, play with her boobs, she has two” and “don’t be a pussy, eat one”
