We get right into the daily this week, and Nany and Turbo have to figure out a way to get into the elimination. The challenge is a race to carry 10 cylindrical puzzle pieces from one end to the other, and then you have to solve the puzzle. If you drop any puzzle pieces you have to go back to the start. As you go through, you pick up more and more until you get to 10. There was a lot less struggling with carrying the pieces than I think the producers were expecting. Frank and Sam get the win.
After the challenge, Shane starts causing drama, and gets in a fight with Da’Vonne. Nany is campaigning to get sent in to get a star, while Turbo smartly just starts feeding the fish.
Everyone votes in Nany and Turbo, because someone has to go in to elimination and they volunteered. Steve and Adam then get sent in, because everyone realizes they need to get one of these teams out.
The first part of the elimination is essentially just bluffing. Each team gets a box, and one gets to look inside. One box has a star, and the one that doesn’t has to guess which box has a star. After 3 rounds, Adam and Steve were right all 3 times, and Nany and Turbo get 2.
The second part of the elimination is carrying yoga balls across the arena using sticks. Because Adam and Steve got more right, they also get to carry one less ball. They end up winning by 3, so they didn’t even need the help. Yet another season where Nany comes up just short.
Adam and Steve end the season with 5 elimination wins out of 10 eliminations. For comparison, Wes and Casey got 5 wins in 8 eliminations in Fresh Meat.
After the elimination, TJ invites everyone to his final, so looks like there will be 2 more episodes of the final for this season. With the way the challenges and eliminations have been, I’m curious what kind of final they’ll have. My guess is a lot of carnival games and puzzles going from station to station, with fair minimal running. This should be an easy win for Adam and Steve, but with the way they’ve tried to even everything out this season anything could happen.
